A great addition to Eleaf’s iStick vaping device collection that boasts impressive devices at reasonable prices, the iStick TC40W is the first in its line that features temperature control. Not only is it a tastefully designed box mod, its cutting-edge temp control and limiting capabilities can forever shield you from experiencing a dry hit or having to deal with a burnt out coil.

Taking after its predecessors, the iStick TC40W is similarly designed but with subtle improvements that makes for a sleeker and more refined device. The buttons on the device look and also feel more durable compared to previous models. The device features a crystal clear, bright OLED screen that displays battery power, current resistance of the atomizer being used, voltage, wattage and temp control settings.

The much larger and now round activation button features a raised beveled design that gives it a much sturdier feel when pressing down compared to the older square activation button which was more flush to the body of the device. The horizontal Mode Button located between the two triangle-shaped adjustment buttons now allows for an easier switch between variable voltage, variable wattage and temperature control modes.

The iStick TC40W is rated at quite a low resistance range of 0.05-1.0ohm when used in Temperature Control Mode and 0.15-3.5 ohms in VV/VW Mode. While in Temp Control Mode, the temperature range settings can go from 200°F to 600°F and the device effectively monitors the temperature of the coils and will automatically adjust itself in order to stay within the user’s desired settings.

This device is powered by an internal 2600mAh Li-Po battery pack and is designed to last any user a long time especially when used in Temp Control Mode, which effectively consumes much less battery power and e-liquid compared to when it is used it VV/VW Mode.

The iStick TC40W is also pass-through capable, which means a user can continue vaping while their device is still charging, quite convenient for any vaper who doesn’t want to wait for their device to finish charging before they can vape again.
